Abstract

Stress is a common condition experienced by individuals of productive age and can negativelyaffect mental health if not properly managed. This study aims to determine the effect of futsal onreducing stress levels. The research design employed a quantitative experimental approachusing a one-group pretest-posttest model. A total of 30 active members of the X FutsalCommunity in Cirebon Regency participated in the intervention, which involved playing futsalfor one week, three sessions, each lasting 60 minutes. Stress levels were measured using theDASS-42 instrument. The results showed a significant decrease in stress scores, from an averageof 22.43 to 10.20. The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test indicated a significance value of p = 0.000.These findings suggest that futsal is effective in reducing stress levels in individuals of productiveage. Futsal may be considered a non-pharmacological intervention to improve mental health
