The Implementation of Tomato Juice to Reduce the Risk of Ineffective Myocardial Perfusion in Hypercholesterolemic Patients

Background: Hypercholesterolemia is a condition in which cholesterol levels in the blood exceed (>200mg/dL). Cholesterol can arise from foods such as fat, milk, and also frequent consumption of meat. Objective: The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of giving soursop leaf decoction to reduce acute pain in gout athritis. Method: The research method used a case study on 2 female respondents who suffered from hypercholesterol with complaints of sore shoulders, easy fatigue, easy drowsiness, chest pain, tingling in the legs and dizziness in the back of the head to the shoulders. Results: Tomato juice given 2 times a day for 6 consecutive days was effective in increasing myocardial perfusion in hypercholesterolemia patients as evidenced by the achievement of a scale from 3 (moderate) to 5 (increased) scale. Conclusion: The conclusion of the study results showed that the administration of tomato juice effectively increased myocardial perfusion in hypercholesterolemia patients.
