EFFECTIVENESS OF GIVING OLIVE OIL TO BABIES WHO EXPERIENCE DISORDERS OF SKIN INTEGRITY DUE TO USE OF DIAPERS (DIAPERS RUSH)

Background: diapers rush or diaper rash is a skin infection caused by prolonged exposure to urine and feces and is also caused by the friction of disposible diapers. The consequences felt when someone experiences diaper rash will arise problems of impaired skin integrity and impaired sense of security and comfort. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using olive oil on diaper rush clients with nursing problems of skin integrity disorders. Method: data obtained from observation through participatory methods and observing patients to complete the data. The subjects of this case study used 2 clients who experienced diapers rush problems with skin integrity disorders. Results: the results of the analysis obtained that the use of olive oil for a week can overcome the average redness increased by 100%. The conclusion is that there is an effect of olive oil on diapers rash sufferers with skin integrity problems from decreasing to increasing.References
