The administration of mint leaf infusion to alleviate nausea in pregnant women during the first trimester with morning sickness.

Background. Pregnancy is an active process that begins with ovulation, conception, nidation, implantation and the process of developing the embryo (fetus). Common signs of a pregnant woman include amenorrhea, nausea and vomiting (morning sickness), flatulence, fatigue, breast changes, weight gain, increased sense of smell, and changes in appetite. Actions used to treat nausea include telling clients to eat little but often and non-pharmacological actions, namely drinking mint leaves and disseminating knowledge to families. Method. This type of research uses case study research. Results. There was a decrease in nausea experienced by pregnant women from 100% nausea and 50% vomiting to 50% nausea and 0% vomiting. Conclusion. Giving a decoction of mint leaves is effective in overcoming nausea and vomiting that is felt by pregnant women in the first trimester.References
