Background: Low delivery Weight Infants (LBW) are neonates who weigh less than 2500 grams at delivery, regardless of age. Symptoms of LBW newborns include a lack of subcutaneous adipose tissue, feeble crying, eating difficulties (lack of swallowing and sucking reflexes), and an unstable body temperature. The kangaroo method allows moms to breastfeed directly, which can enhance breastfeeding frequency due to attachment and skin-to-skin contact. Objective: the issue of inadequate breastfeeding by providing kangaroo method care (PMK) for LBW infants. Methods: data gathered through participatory methods, acts, and interviews. The women and babies who have low birth weight are the subjects of this case study investigation. Results: The data revealed that the success rates of breastfeeding among respondents before and after the activity varied. Respondent I, who was previously only slightly adequate, is now totally adequate, and Respondent II, who was before insufficient, is now fully adequate. Conclusion: Kangaroo method treathment of low-birtweight infants with breastfeeding ineffectiveness improves breastfeeding success rates. Suggestion: It is anticipated that both respondents will be able to put the kangaroo technique care into practice in order to address the issue of inefficient breastfeeding and enhance the health of infants.References
